You get on the rail (HS or TS) and slide straight, nose of the board aligned with the line - the most basic rail trick to start on features.

Tips to land it

Approach at a moderate and steady speed, nose of the module aligned with the direction of the rail.
Keep your body compact, knees relaxed, and let go of the back hand to better manage balance.
Keep your weight centered throughout the slide, board flat on the module.
Anticipate the end of the rail with a small pop and lift your knees to absorb the exit.
