How to Railey on a Cable Wakeboard

You come off your heelside edge and send the board far behind you, above your head, like Superman. This is THE iconic air trick of cable wakeboarding, the basis of the entire railey family.

Tips to land it

Build tension gradually on the heelside edge; don’t dive straight into it.
Keep your arms close to your ribs during the tensioning, looking towards the cable pole.
Let the handle pull you up during the release; don’t pull on it yourself.
Fully extend in the air once released, like Superman, then bring the handle back towards your hip to place the board under your feet.
